At Lacros, we love the world around us. Every day, we see how beautiful our Earth is when people head out on our electric folding bikes. Whether it’s a relaxing ride through the vast Dutch forests, a trip along rolling hills starting from the campsite, or discovering new places far off the beaten track; nature gives us a priceless feeling of freedom.

But that same beautiful world, with all its unique inhabitants and fragile ecosystems, is under great pressure. Wild animals are losing their habitats and nature is having a tough time. That deeply affects us. We believe that we should not only enjoy all the beauty the planet offers us, but that we also carry the responsibility to give something back. With our electric folding bikes, we encourage an active and environmentally conscious lifestyle. Anyone who chooses the e-bike instead of the car chooses fewer emissions and cleaner air. By doing so, we significantly reduce our burden on nature while cycling.

At the same time, we remain realistic: we understand very well that the production of e-bikes and crucial components, such as the battery, also has an impact on the environment. For instance, our company premises were built completely CO₂-neutral, and we generate our own green energy thanks to the large amount of solar panels on our roof.
